The following list is a compilation of questions our guests have frequently asked us. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please contact us at reservations@singelhotel.nl and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

1. How do I make a reservation at the Singel Hotel?
Please choose the RESERVATION button to check availability and follow the step by step menu.

2. Do I need a credit card to make a reservation at the Singel Hotel?
Yes, you will need a credit card, as a guarantee, to make your online reservation. The credit card which you use must be of your own or has to be legally authorised by the owner. On arrival you can pay using the method of payment of your choice.

3. Is it safe to send my credit card details over the internet?
Absolutely ! For your protection, the reservation processing is handled on a secured server that encrypts your credit card information.

4. Which credit cards can I use to guarantee a reservation?
You can use Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Diners Card / JCB.

5. What if I need a specific room (f.e. ground floor, church view)?
Please enter your request in the "Message to the Hotel" field of the reservation form. We will do our utmost to accommodate these requests. However, we cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they are subject to availability upon arrival.

6. Our child / children will be travelling with us, do they stay free?
Children from 0 to 2 years old can stay free of charge. The hotel can provide a baby cot without extra charge (please note that there is limited availability).

7. What is the hotel check-in time / check-out time?
The Singel Hotel check-in time is any time after 2 p.m. You are always welcome to store your luggage and see if we can check you in earlier. The Singel Hotel check-out time is 12 noon. You are always welcome to store your luggage at the hotel for the rest of the day.

8. Will the hotel hold my room if I'm arriving late?
Since your reservation is guaranteed with a credit card, the hotel is obliged to hold your room until 7 a.m. on the day after expected arrival.

9. What if I miss my flight or get delayed in an other way and it effects my stay?
We recommend that you call (0031 (0)20 62 63 108) or mail (reservations@singelhotel.nl) the hotel to notify us about the situation. Please note that if your check-in date is delayed, you will not be reimbursed for any unused portions of your reservation.

10. What if I want to leave the hotel 1 night earlier?
Please inform the hotel reception as soon as possible if you want to leave earlier than planned. If you do wish to cancel one or more nights from your original reservation, please bear our cancellation policy in mind.

11. Where can I find directions to the hotel?
Please choose "Location" in "The Hotel" menu to find the best way to reach our hotel.

12. What if I arrive at the hotel and the hotel does not show my reservation?
All our reservations are confirmed by e-mail. If you want to be 100 % sure of your reservation, you can always contact us by phone (00 31 (0)20 62 63 108) or e-mail (reservations@singelhotel.nl) to check your reservation.

13. What is the cancellation policy of the Singel Hotel?
Singel Hotel cancellation policy: Cancellation without charge is possible until 48 hours before the day of arrival. Please notice that the day of arrival starts at 0.00 a.m. local time. In case of No Show or late cancellation, the first night will be charged. The hotel will hold your room reservation until 7:00 a.m. on the day after your scheduled arrival.

14. How do I cancel my reservation?
Please click on "Cancellation" which can be found in the menu on the right to cancel your reservation on-line.

15. My travel plans have changed. Can I modify my reservation on-line?
Due to the year round heavy booking volume in our hotel, we advise you to contact us by email (reservations@singelhotel.nl) or phone (0031 (0)20 62 63 108) if you wish to change your booking. In cases of change, please note our cancellation policy.

16. Will there be coffee and tea making facilities in room?
This is not a standard offering in Dutch hotels. Coffee and tea can be ordered from our kitchen 24 hours per day.
